The latest installment of the F1 series has been officially announced. We found out the release date and system requirements for the game on PC. Electronic Arts, which took over Codemasters some time ago, is responsible for the publishing of the game.
It's happened. The next installment of the popular F1 racing game series has been announced, more specifically - F1 2021. And although, as usual, Codemasters is responsible for the game, it's worth noting that the title was presented on Electronic Arts' blog, which shouldn't come as a surprise if we remember the recent acquisition of the said company by EA. We got to know, among other things, the system requirements on PC, a release date, as well as the first trailer.
In this year's edition of gaming Formula 1 we will again be able to play as a professional race driver. This time the developers have prepared three new game modes. The first of them is "Two-player Career", which offers the possibility of playing through a season together with a friend (in co-op or competing). The second is the "Real-Season Start" which enables us to compete with other drivers in real-time after choosing any moment of the ongoing season. The third, and essentially the most important mode, is "Unbridled Zeal", a journey from Formula 2 all the way up to Formula 1, with story elements that also depict life off the racetrack.
F1 2021 will be released on July 16, 2021 on PC (on Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
