New Season of Fall Guys Will Take Us to Year 4041
It has been revealed that season 4 of Fall Guys is subtitled 4041 and will take us to a retro-futuristic version of the distant future.
Mediatonic released a teaser for the fourth season of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, the popular multiplayer arcade game that proved to be one of the most surprising hits of last year.
The information released about the new season is very scant. We know that it is titled Fall Guys 4041 and will focus in SF themes. However, judging by the teaser, it will be a retro-futuristic vision. We can expect additional maps, costumes and options. For now, no planned release date was revealed.
It's worth mentioning that this is not the only new attraction that fans of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout can count on. Today, costumes modeled after the title character of Cuphead, the excellent 2017 platformer from StudioMDHR, will hit the game. On Saturday, in turn, we will receive skins based on Mugman, another character from the same game.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout debuted in August last year on PC and PlayStation 4. The game turned out to be a huge hit - more than 11 million copies were sold only on Steam. On PS4 the game was initially available as part of the PS Plus subscription and the project quickly became the most downloaded production in the history of this service.
2021 promises to be another fruitful year for Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. In addition to developing the game across new seasons, the devs also plan to port the game to Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
