Fallout 76 Along With Wastelanders Will Launch on Steam on April 7

Bethesda revealed the release date and published the first trailer of a large and free update to Fallout 76, entitled Wastelanders. The expansion introduces new equipment, enemies, factions and, for the first time, human NPCs. At the same time as the add-on, the game will also debut on Steam.

Fallout 76, struggling with all its numerous controversies and problems, still lingers above our heads. Bethesda has just published the trailer of its first large free expansion called Wastelanders, which was announced in the middle of last year. The video presenting the biggest attractions of the expansion also includes its release date, set for April 7 2020. The Wastelanders update will be made available to PC owners as well as Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at the same time. Fallout 76 will also be released on Steam on the same day. So far on PC we were forced to activate the game via Bethesda.net.

Wastelanders will introduce a lot of changes to Fallout 76, some of which the players have demanded from the very beginning. The most important of these will be a new story campaign. With its emergence, the so-far abandoned Appalachians will be populated by human NPCs, forming various factions fighting for control over the entire region. During the game, we will be able to interact with the NPCs, using the classic dialogue trees, accompanied by a new reputation system that will influence our relationships with individual factions.

There are also new challenges, missions and locations waiting for the players. While traversing the wasteland, they will also come across new monsters and enemies, which they will defeat with newly-introduced weapons. All these innovations will be available with the launch of Wastelanders, provided, of course, that they won't introduce a number of new bugs and absurd problems, about which we will certainly inform you.

We can start collecting bets on how many bugs and problems the upcoming expansion will bring to the game.
