Fallout 76 Will be Developed for at Least One Year From Now

Developers from Bethesda Softworks - creators of Fallout 76 - informed during an AMA session that the game will be developed for another year. New content will include a storyline and a number of other interesting features and improvements.

Wastelanders is not the end.

IN A NUTSHELL:

  1. Fallout 76 will be developed over the next year;
  2. We'll get a new storyline dedicated to Brotherhood of Steel, legendary perks, companion clothes, game balance fixes and interface improvements.

Fallout 76 has recently seen the releases of a large expansion called Wastelanders, which introduced NPCs to Bethesda Softworks' game. It looks like developers aren't going to stop at that - the game's development plans are ambitious and include a year of updates adding new content. The information appeared in response to a question during an AMA (ask me anything) session organized on Reddit.

We can expect a new storyline associated with the Brotherhood of Steel, legendary perks (coming in summer) and more clothes for companions. Developers are also planning to expand the system of campsites and improve the balance of the game (especially the behavior of individual weapons). Fallout 76 will also receive interface improvements - a group search system and perhaps a text chat (the latter only on PC).

We would like to remind that Fallout 76 debuted on November 14, 2018 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The title was received rather coldly from both experts and players, which was due to numerous bugs and technical problems.
