A father and son ordered a Switch 2. The package arrived without the console, and evidence shows that someone from the delivery company stole the device. Unfortunately, each of the parties responsible for the mix-up washed their hands.
In June, a truck driver lost a whole load of Switches 2, but there are also smaller-scale thefts planned. A certain father and son ordered a console, for which the child had saved up all his savings. The delivered shipment arrived empty, and evidence points to theft committed by a courier company employee. However, no one feels responsible (via GamePro).
On the subreddit r/switch2, user Content-Garage7634 outlined their unfortunate situation. So, he ordered a Switch 2 with his son from Walmart store with home delivery. The package was handled by FedEx, on whose website you can track the status of the package in real time. Including its current weight, which is a very important element in this story, because the shipment arrived empty.

The package looks like it's been opened and resealed. However, this is not the best part of the story. When the delivery arrived at the sorting facility, it weighed just under 2 kilograms, but when it left, it was only about 230 grams. How did it happen? It's unclear because no one inside the courier company noticed it, and the package was sent on and eventually delivered.
Content-Garage7634 decided to contact both Walmart and FedEx to clarify the matter and get the money back. Unfortunately, neither side showed initiative to resolve the matter. Content-Garage7634 reported that he received information from both corporations that the shipment has reached its destination, so everything is fine. No reaction to the theft.
That's why he reported the whole situation to the police, showing evidence like the weight information from the courier's website and the open package. At the same time, he is waiting for confirmation of a refund to the credit card that was used for payment. Even though more than 3 weeks have passed since the incident, Content-Garage7634 is still not sure if he will be able to recover the lost money.
