Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is a New Take on the Final Fantasy Series

The announcement of Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin closed the Square Enix conference. The title will arrive in 2022 on PS4, PS5, Xbox and PC. The PS5 demo is available starting today.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin closed the Square Enix conference at E3 2021;
  2. The title is a collaboration between Team Ninja (Nioh) and Square Enix. Scheduled for launch in 2022 on PS4, PS5, Xbox and PC.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is the latest spin-off of the most popular jRPG series. According to earlier rumors, Team Ninja is responsible for its development (known from the Ninja Gaiden series, Nioh) in cooperation with Square Enix.

Contrary to information making rounds a few days ago Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is a multiplatform title and will be available in 2022 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X|S and PC. The gameplay will draw handfuls from the typical action RPGs and will present a new idea for the Final Fantasy series, preceding the events known from Final Fantasy I.

Today, a demo version will be made available on PlayStation 5, which will enable us to check out the beginning of the game. We'll be able to try the combat system, explore the Chaos Chapel, where the antagonist - Garland - is waiting for us. The demo will be removed after June 24, this year.
