Square Enix took care of FF7 fans. The publisher announced Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the second part of the remake, and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion - a refreshed version of the PSP classic.
Final Fantasy VII 25th Anniversary, a presentation organized by Square Enix to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of FF7, took place yesterday. Although the show lasted only several minutes, it turned out to be extremely fruitful for fans of this universe.
The most important event of the show was the announcement of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
A pleasant surprise turned out to be the announcement of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion.
The gameplay and cutscenes will remain mostly the same as in the original on PSP, but all the visuals will be thoroughly revamped. All character models and objects will be remade from scratch. We also get an improved interface and remastered music.
Also announced was the release of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on Steam. It was assured that the game has been properly optimized for Steam Deck.
Recall that the PC edition debuted in December last year, but until now it was available only on Epic Games Store.
We were also informed that a closed beta ofFinal Fantasy VII Ever Crisis, an episodic mobile single-player game focusing on telling a variety of stories from the FF7 universe, will launch later this year .
A new trailer for the project was also shown.
