This task isn’t as easy as it may seem. The game does not say explicitly what to do in order to finish this objective.

Near the end of the game, you will reach the tunnels where giant insects called Impious Mantis live. They are tough enemies to fight, so be prepared for more challenging encounter. Many players make mistake by not taking the Mantis Glands after defeating them. It is crucial for completing this quest. They can be found on the bug’s back.

Be careful, because if you don’t take them the first time and leave the area, the path to the dead insects will be blocked when you come there again. You will have to find other tunnels where the Mantises dwell in order to fight them again and collect their glands.

After successfully obtaining the item, head back to your base and scan those in Virus Scanner.
