Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Fiat and Abarth are finally making their way into Forza Horizon 5. We'll get 8 old-new models from these brands tomorrow, and the next eight will be unlocked gradually from the Playlist. There's also another DLC, featuring 7 hot supercars from Italy.
The turn of August and September will pass in Forza Horizon 5 under the sign of new and old-new cars. In Series 24, titled Italian Automotive and starting this Thursday, Playground Games isn't playing around with stories or decorating the map - tomorrow's update is to primarily expand the fleet with missing Italian brands: Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Fiat and Abarth.
Usually we need to wait until the start of the Festival Playlist, which falls on Thursday, to access the new content. This time, however, it's already the moment the update is released - that is, tomorrow afternoon - we will be able to drive the first eight models that will be in the showroom (to be purchased with credits).
The remaining eight "Italians" returning from Forza Horizon 4 will be unlocked by playing the challenges in the Festival Playlist, starting on Thursday.
The number of points indicates how many challenges from the Playlist you need to complete to unlock a particular reward.
Playground Games continues earning on brand new cars and is releasing another DLC, titled Italian Exotics Car Pack. This time it will add seven cars and the price will increase to 9.99 euros. The DLC will be released tomorrow, simultaneously with the update.
Although the new update does not offer content other than the aforementioned cars, it still introduces some changes highly desired by the community:
The full list of modifications made in the update will be announced tomorrow.
In Series 25, which will launch on September 14, Playground Games will focus on fine-tuning the EventLab.. We don't yet know exactly what improvements we'll see in this track editor (other than that it's about changes requested by players), but they must be significant, since the developer has described the attraction as "EventLab 2.0." There will, of course, be no shortage of new cars either.
