Forza Horizon 5 - Sustainable Energy Treasure Hunt and Where to Find Guanajuato

A new Treasure Hunt called Sustainable Energy has appeared in Forza Horizon 5. This message will also tell you how to get the associated rewards.

A new Treasure Hunt has appeared in Forza Horizon 5, which will give you the opportunity to earn 100 Forzathon points (FP) and earn 3 season progress points (PTS).

A challenge called Sustainable Energy will require you to reach insane speeds using electric cars. Here you will learn exactly what it consists of and how you will complete it.

Sustainable Energy - how to complete the new Treasure Hunt

As the name suggests, the new challenge is related to electric cars. To unlock the Treasure Chest, which is the reward for completing it, you will have to go to the city of Guanajuato.

On the spot your task, on the other hand, will be to reach a speed of 100 mph (or 160 km/h) with any "electric car" and maintain it for 15 seconds. The key to getting it right is choosing the right car and location.

In terms of car selection, best option is probably the Ford Mustang Mach E. This is an extremely fast car that will enable you to reach the required speed without any problem.

The best place for the task, on the other hand, is a long and relatively straight road located on the northern edge of Guanajuato. It has no sudden turns or troublesome obstacles that would make it difficult to maintain a speed of 100 mph.

After completing the challenge in Guanajuato, a crate will appear. You will find it in an alley next to the university. It's a tight alley full of stalls. To get the reward of 100 FP and 3 PTS, simply drive into the Treasure Chest.

Forza Horizon 5 - where is Guanajuato?

And where is Guanajuato itself located? Even if the name doesn't ring any bells, you have almost certainly visited the city. After all, it is the largest metropolitan area available in Forza Horizon 5.

It is located in the northern part of the map, above El Stadio Horizon and east of the great La Gran Caldera. You will also find this location marked on the map below.
