Forza Horizon 5 Gameplay in 4K and 60 FPS Charmed the Press

Forza Horizon 5 was tested by selected journalists. The result: a flood of gameplay demonstrations and enthusiastic impressions.

There is still some time left until the release of Forza Horizon 5, but if you don't feel like like waiting another month to see the game in action, you have the opportunity to do so now. Not directly, of course. Some footage from the new Forza Horizon, including a video in 4K and 60fps on Performance and Quality settings on Xbox Series X are available on the web (via IGN). You can watch the footage below.

This and other gameplay videos are courtesy of a recent press screening hosted by Microsoft. Journalists had the opportunity to spend up to several hours with Forza Horizon 5 and speak with its developers. The game made quite an impression on them, partly due to the beautiful visuals, but not only that. Forgoing a two-year development cycle in favor of a three-year one enabled Playground Games to improve elements that otherwise it wouldn't have had enough time to deal with (vide GameSpot). This includes new progressive braking (read: non-binary) and suspension system.

The longer development time has also translated into a much larger and, more importantly, more varied world and enabled the developers to make the most of Xbox Series X's power. Add to this an even better driving model, dynamic and regionalized weather conditions for the entire map, really interesting and diverse tasks, attention to detail (during the work on the virtual Mexico the team was assisted by, among others, a cultural consultant. The list of accolades following the presentation of Forza Horizon 5 is long.

Unfortunately, we'll have to wait a bit longer to verify these enthusiastic opinions. Forza Horizon 5 will debut on November 9 on PC, Xbox One and Xbox X/S Series.
