PC players look forward to seeing the remastered edition of the first Gears of War game.

The publisher hinted at a release window for PC versions of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and Killer Instict. Both games are going to hit the platform “not far into 2016”, twitted Phil Spencer from Microsoft when asked if we could expect the them before March. True, this isn’t very specific, but at least we have a reference point now. We guess this means the first or early second quarter of 2016.

Back in August the developers of Killer Instinct said the full version of their fighting game (all three seasons) was going to launch on PC in March – two and a half year after the title’s initial debut on Xbox One. Killer Instinct will offer cross-platform play for Windows 10 and XONE users.

The plans of porting the two XONE exclusives to PC were announced in June during PC Gaming Show conference on this year’s E3.
