GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Later Than Expected

Nvidia is reported to have once again delayed the release of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti with 8GB of GDDR6 memory. We've lerned the new launch date.

We hear about Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti here and there, although it has not yet been officially announced by the company. However, there were so many credible leaks that it is difficult to doubt the existence of another chipset from the Ampere family. According to unofficial reports from Chinese website Expreview, the release of GeForce RTX 3060 Ti was delayed from November 17 to December 2, this year. The GPU was originally scheduled to be released in late October.

None of these dates were reported by Nvidia. It is therefore difficult, of course, to speak of an official delay, as was the case with the cancelation of GeForce RTX 3080 20 GB and RTX 3070 16 GB, but given the huge availability problems with existing Nvidia models, another delay seems very likely.

Soon, another representative of the Ampere family will join the new top three of Nvidia.

GeForce RTX 3060 Ti will offer slightly worse specs than the recently reviewed GeForce RTX 3070. It is to be more efficient than GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER at a price starting from $399. In the case of custom models, it can be expected to exceed the barrier of $500, and in the case of top-shelf Asus Strix chipsets, even $600.
