Warhammer 40:000: Darktide has made its full debut on Steam. To mark the occasion, you can pick up the Vermintide crossover Devoted Rejects Pack, containing skins from the latter.
On November 30 Warhammer 40,000: Darktide had its official launch on PC and Xbox X/S. It quickly became apparent that the game was breaking popularity records. Within 24 hours on PC, more than 108,000 users played the game simultaneously (data as of December 1, 2022), which is a great result. Along with the game's debut skins from Vermintide were unlocked. To get the new skins you do not need to perform any complicated actions. Fatshark, the studio responsible for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide has announced that the skins will be available from the day of the game's release for all, who own one of the earlier parts, namely Vermintide or Vermintide 2.
Skins can be chosen in two ways. If you are creating a new character, go to Character Creation and directly from there you can use the new skins..
We can change the appearance of an already finished character at Barber-surgeon, which is located opposite the Armoury. Skins appear as separate cosmetic elements, such as hairstyle or tattoo, and not as a ready-made skin on the character.
It is also worth mentioning that the skins are completely free. Speaking of free, from November 3 to 7 on Steam you could pick up Vermintide 2 for free, which a very large number of players took advantage of.
