Cyberpunk Action Game Ghostrunner 2 With Release Date
We know when the action game Ghostrunner 2 will debut, and we also know the price and content of the various editions.
The fact that the highly rated action game Ghostrunner will receive a sequel was revealed back in 2021. Until now, however, the Polish studio responsible for the sequel, One More Level, did not reveal the game's release date - we only knew that the debut would take place this year.
Now the creators have revealed when exactly we will play Ghostrunner 2. This will take place in a month filled with launches of major titles, specifically on October 26. It is worth noting that during this period we will also see the debuts of, among others, Assassin's Creed: Mirage, Forza Motorsport, Alan Wake 2, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 or Cities: Skylines II.
This information was confirmed by the developers in a message onbettergamingagency.com [in Polish] and in a new trailer for the game. Although the footage has not yet been officially released, it will certainly happen later today - the developers announced, including on Twitter, that players should "get ready for Monday." Meanwhile, you can watch the new trailer, which includes some gameplay footage, below (the video is set to "non-public" for now) and on the game's page on Epic Games Store.
We also learned the prices of the different versions of Ghostrunner 2 on PC:
- The basic edition costs $39.99 - those who decide to pre-order the game (this applies to all editions) will receive the Traditional Katana Package, which includes two sword skins and two gauntlet skins.
- For the Deluxe edition, we have to pay $49.99. - includes same items as the basic edition, plus four additional gauntlet skins, four sword skins and a personalized gauntlet hologram displaying the player's nickname.
- The Brutal edition costs $69.99. - includes everything the Deluxe edition does, a season pass, animated weapon and gauntlet skins, a motorcycle skin, and offers the opportunity to play up to 48 hours before the official release.
Pre-orders for Ghostrunner 2 should launch later today. Recall that the game will debut on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles and PC.
