God of War Ragnarok Dev Asks for Patience; News Coming Soon

We'll have to wait for new info on God of War: Ragnarok. Director Cory Barlog promises „something cool,” but for now asks players to be patient.

It's been a while since the last news about the next installment of the Norse saga God of War appeared. Especially so if we exclude the leaks and other unconfirmed reports. We will still have to wait for official information. Director of God of War, Cory Barlog, asked fans to be patient, because Sony Santa Monica is preparing for them "something cool."

The creator assured in a video posted on Twitterthat lack of communication from the developer is simply a result of hard work. Sony Santa Monica is a team of "perfectionists" who are now trying to dot all the i's:

Speaking of God of War Ragnarok... We haven't said a lot about it because everybody is hands-down hard at work.

We're perfectionists. Everyone is tightening up the graphics to level three. There's so much going on right now that I just wish that we could share it with you, but it's just not ready to be shown.

Therefore, Barlog asked players to patiently wait for news from the team. At the same time, he assured that "something cool" is coming, and the developers are grateful to the fans for their support.

It's not clear if this "cool" thing refers to the game itself or some kind of announcement. Either way, for now it's better to follow Barlog's advice and stay patient.
