Stranger Things Star on Her Role in Godzilla vs Kong

Godzilla vs Kong is another movie from the MonsterVerse. Apart from a clash of giant monsters, we will also see Millie Bobby Brown, the star of Stranger Things, returning to her MonsterVerse role. However, her character will be completely different from the one we could see in Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The actress explained the details of Madison Russell's transformation in an interview with Collider.
"So, five years have gone by and Madison has grown up. It's definitely a coming-of-age story for her. Her storyline has definitely evolved greatly in the way she deals with things, her attitude towards life, how much more stronger of a person. Really trying to follow in her mother's footsteps as well as strength wise she's becoming more strong, more independent and understanding what she needs to do. Five years are gone by and she's basically a badass."
Millie Bobby Brown also revealed what will be the focus of her character's storyline. Madison Russell is to strive to know and understand the Titans that are Godzilla and King Kong. The main value she is looking for is the knowledge about the great monsters.
The film itself, in turn, has received two new TV spots that showcase new cenes. Fans who are looking forward to the upcoming movie should be happy to see the two beasts clash in full daylight or artificial, but obviously stylish neon lights.
Godzilla vs Kong will be the first on-screen encounter between the two monsters since 1962, which is when King Kong vs Godzilla from Japanese studio Toho premiered. Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. are responsible for the new version of this monster movie. The premiere is scheduled for March 31. It will appear simultaneously in the few open cinemas and on HBO Max platform.
