Grounded - How to Get Golden Cards?

If you want to unlock the Gotta Peep Them All achievement in Grounded, then here you will find some useful information. This is because in this guide you will learn how to get Golden Cards.

While playing Grounded you can collect cards describing the animals you encounter. If you are lucky, you will come across a better, golden, version of these items. Unlocking all the Golden Cards is required for unlocking the Gotta Peep Them All achievement. Below you will learn how to get the full collection.

How to get a Golden Card.

Getting a Golden Card is possible in two ways:

  1. By clicking the appropriate button, you start PEEP (Y on the pad or X on the keyboard). Then you must hover over the animal in question and analyze it by clicking the left mouse button or RT on the pad. When you do this you will get a card, but not necessarily a gold one.

  1. When you kill representatives of species scanned with PEEP, there is also a chance that when you search their corpses, you will receive a Golden Card.

The collection of collected cards can be found in your SCA.B, under the "Data" tab.

How quickly you get a Golden Card is largely a matter of luck. This is because each creature has a certain % chance of dropping it. The probabilities are as follows:

  1. 1% fora common enemy;
  2. 10% for bosses;

In the game, there is one opponent who will give you a guaranteed Golden Card. It is the Assistant Manager, acting as one of the bosses. This is because this opponent can be defeated only once and there is no way to summon him again to the game world.

So the whole thing boils down to the fact that when you first see a creature you use PEEP. If, on scanning, your Golden Card does not drop, then you have to kill representatives of the species until you get the desired item. Of course, the whole process is easier if you target species that are neutral towards you.
