GTA 6 - Change on the Website May Suggest Imminent Announcement

Rockstar Games has introduced a change in the GTAVI.com website, which suggests that the developer may be preparing for the official announcement of Grand Theft Auto VI.

It's been almost seven years since the release of the fifth installment, so we are ready for a sequel.

We're getting more and more certain that the official announcement of Grand Theft Auto VI can be expected any moment now. The latest harbinger of this is a change introduced in the GTAVI.com website. It was registered back in 2006 and since then it has been renewed every May. Therefore, it was quite surprising when it was modified yesterday.

What's more, so far the domain has redirected to the official website of Rockstar Games, dedicated to the fifth edition of the series. Now this has changed and when trying to load GTAVI.com an error pops up. It is worth noting that this is not the case with GTAVII.com and GTAVIII.com. Fans hope that this means that the developers are preparing to launch the official website of Grand Theft Auto VI and thus the announcement of the game is near.

Let us remind that these are not the only hints related to GTA6. The game's imminent release was also suggested by unusual activity on GTAForums and a map in the recent DLC for GTAV.
