GTA Online Breaks Popularity Records; Free Items Available

Rockstar Games can be pleased with the popularity of GTA Online. The company boasted that the game has broken new popularity records, thanks to, e.g. the release of a new update, El Cayo Perico Heist.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. GTA Online beats records of popularity among the players;
  2. In gratitude, Rockstar Games prepared a free item giveaway in the online modes of GTA V and Red Dead Online.

Despite being eight years old, GTA Online keeps beating popularity records. Rockstar Games informed that at the end of 2020, the online mode that accopanies Grand Theft Auto V could boast a record number of the players. No exact figures were given, but if we take a peek at Twitch, we can see that more than 400 thousand people are following streamers playing the game.

To celebrate the result achieved with the launch of a new heist (El Cayo Perico), Rockstar will give all players who log in to GTA Online a cap and a T-shirt with the company logo.

However, that's not all. People who play Red Dead Online will also be rewarded with gifts. In this case, the devs tried a little harder, because after logging into the game (until February 15 inclusive) we can receive:

  • A free Horse under Rank 40;
  • A free Stable Slot
  • 5,000 Club XP;
  • 2 free Ability Cards;
  • High-Velocity Ammo for all gun types;
  • A free Coat, free Hat Rank and Shirt 15 and under;
  • A free Fast Travel Voucher;
  • Horse Reviver;
  • Assortment of select Tonics and other consumables.
