GTA Online Players Use Prostitutes to Duplicate Cars

In GTA Online there is a glitch that enables you to duplicate selected cars using prostitutes and the Mobile Operations Centre. Rockstar tried to fix the bug in early March, but players have already found a way to recreate it.

GTA Online players duplicate cars with the help of prostitutes.
IN A NUTSHELL:
  • Earlier this year, GTA Online players discovered a bug that enabled them to duplicate cars;
  • They did this by shooting prostitutes locked in the vehicle parked near the Mobile Operations Centre and then entering the MOC with a vehicle of their choice;
  • Rockstar fixed this glitch in early March, but players have already found another similar way to clone cars.

Earlier this year, GTA Online players discovered an interesting bug that enabled them to duplicate cars. The trick was to take a prostitute at night and prevent her from leaving the vehicle near the Mobile Operations Center (e.g. by parking the car near the wall). The player then chose the vehicle they want cloned from the garage and transport it to the MOC. Now this is where things get interesting. One had to shoot the prostitute locked in the other car, and then drive in and out of MOC with the chosen vehicle. If the whole action was successful, the players could find the same car in their garage (while sitting in the one they drove into the MOC).

At the beginning of, March Rockstar fixed the bug, but the players didn't need much time to discover how to continue duplicating their cars in a very similar way. The procedure begins identically, i.e. by taking a prostitute at night and preventing her from running away near the Mobile Operations Center. Then we need to scare her (e.g. by shooting into the air), and then shoot several times into the hood of the car, so that it starts to burn. Then the player has to call the insurance company, drive out of the garage with the car they want to clone, kill the prostitute (who then simply disappears) and drive the chosen vehicle to the MOC. After a successful action, a second copy of the will be waiting in the garage. For your convenience, you can see how it looks in practice in the video below.

One of what data miner "Tez2" explained on Polygon, Rockstar initially wanted to fix the glitch simply by making the prostitute die immediately after being shot, which was supposed to make the whole action impossible, because it's not clear why, but for the action to go well, the woman had to live. So the players came up with the idea that by setting fire to the car, they would use the bug when the prostitute locked inside would slowly die and then finish her off themselves.

This glitch has gained popularity because, contrary to appearances, it is easy to recreate, and duplicate rare cars can later be sold for a large amount of cash. However, it should be kept in mind that Rockstar will certainly do its best to get rid of it as soon as possible.
