Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Will Use Denuvo

Square Enix, the publisher of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, has confirmed that the game will use Denuvo DRM software. The same solution will be used in Humankind published by Sega.

  1. Marvel's Guardian of the Galaxy will use Denuvo protection. This was announced by Square Enix - the publisher of the game;
  2. The solution will also appear in Humankind.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy was announced during the recently concluded E3 trade show. It will be a third-person single-player action game with a focus on storytelling. What's interesting, the title will feauture no microtransactions (!) or DLCs. Today we also learned, that Guardians of the Galaxy will use the anti-piracy protection Denuvo.

Denuvo will also appear in Humankind, a historical turn-based strategy game produced by Amplitude Studios. The title is reminiscent of games from the Civilization series - our task is to develop our community through the centuries. According to many "Humankind will be something more than just another clone of Civilization.

Will gamers once again complain about the impact of Denuvo on performance?

Gamers have been complaining that the controversial Denuvo solutions negatively affect the quality of gameplay. Many claim that this security feature negatively affects performance. One wonders how fans, who are already looking forward to both of these productions, will react to the appearance of this system.

Guardians of The Galaxy will be released on October 26th on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, while Humankind will debut on August 17, exclusively on PC.
