“Failed to create party” in DBD affects a large number of players. What causes this problem? We explain it in our article.
Dead by Daylight, despite how long ago it was released, remains an unbeatable title when it comes to asymmetrical survival horror games. It is still being developed to such an extent that new collaborations with the world of pop culture are emerging. The recently introduced legendary characters from The Walking Dead universe – Michonne and Rick Grimes – are a perfect example of this. Unfortunately, instead of enjoying the new content, many players have been complaining about a rather annoying error called “Failed to Create Party.” Here you can learn more about this problem.
Recently, DBD players have begun experiencing strange problems related to creating lobbies. The message “Failed to create party” appears on their screens. A series of complaints can be seen on forums. The developers have already addressed the issue related to Killers, who reported that they could not start chases during a Trial.
Taking into consideration the scale of the problem, the culprit is likely the latest patch introduced to the game. It is one of the larger patches, as it weighs about 43GB, all due to the fact that the game engine has been updated. There is a good chance that this is the reason for errors such as “Failed to create party.” The new update is not only about bugs, though. There were many changes to perks, individual killers' abilities, or items. If you are interested in the new content, you can find it here.
Fortunately, the developers are aware that the latest update has somewhat broken the game. At the moment, unfortunately, the possibility of creating a lobby depends on luck. Resetting the game, the platform, or playing as a killer has no effect. It is a highly random phenomenon. Therefore, you will have to wait for a fix from the game developers. However, it is not known when it will arrive, so it is worth being patient in this matter.
