His Dark Material Season Two Trailer Released
A trailer of the second season of „His Dark Materials” has been released. The premiere date was also revealed and it was informed that the coronavirus forced the creators to cut out one episode.
HBO has released the first trailer of the second season of fantasy series His Dark Materials.
Trailer not only enables us to see what attractions await in the new episodes, but also informs that the second season will debut this autumn. This should reassure fans who were afraid that the production might be delayed due to coronavirus.
Unfortunately, the pandemic forced the shooting to be finished earlier than planned. For this reason, the second season will only consist of seven, not eight episodes, as initially planned. Interestingly, however, the missing episode was to be an independent story focusing on the character of Lord Asriel, played by James McAvoy. It does not appear in the novel original and was written exclusively for the series. Therefore, its absence should not negatively affect the main plot.
