Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores is expected to benefit from abandoning the PS4 version. Among other things, the title's visuals will be improved thanks to this.
Although the project went off the radar recently, the release of Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores is fast approaching. In connection with this, the director of the DLC - Mathijs de Jonge - revealed some new information. He assured that the DLC will benefit from the fact that it will come out only on PS5.
In a post that we can read on the PlayStation Blog, the developer praises the capabilities of Sony's latest console. According to him the abandonment of the PS4 version has increased the creative options of Guerrilla Games, the studio responsible for the game. This is because the limitations that had to be taken into account when designing a game for the now rather aged device have been lifted.
