The title was created with co-op play in mind, but playtest 4 introduced a new map, called The Goblin Caves, which allows for solo gameplay. It features a menacing boss - Cave Troll. It is a large, hard-hitting opponent who focuses on relatively slow attacks with his large mace. You should be careful when fighting it and pay special attention to his strong blows, especially when he reaches for his weapon with both hands. Crouching and shielding yourself with a shield is very effective in avoiding damage.
A hotfix introduced on February 8 added an item called Troll's Blood, which can be obtained after killing the beast.

Cave Troll is located in the middle of The Goblin Caves.. The easiest way to defeat it is at a distance. For this purpose, the archer works great, and the strategy is to run around the boss being near the walls and take shots when the beast is a few meters away from the player. At some point, the troll will approach and attack. The blow can be easily avoided by crouching. Then you just need to jump back to a safe distance and resume attacks with your bow.

When fighting this enemy, we need to have a shield ready at all times and cover ourselves with it when the Troll attacks.. Fortunately, their animations are quite long and easy to read. If we are at a safe distance and approach the troll, it will attack with a strong blow, which can be easily avoided by crouching and turning to the left. When the Troll prepares to shout, immediately deal him a few blows and prepare to dodge, because an attack is certain to come after this. At some point the beast may grab its mace with both hands. This means that in moments it will attack from the top. In this case, it is necessary to move away from the affected area.
