Dark and Darker is a popular dungeon crawler game in which a group of players are sent to dungeons. In them, they must fight a battle against dangerous monsters and themselves. Wealth can be gained only by a few who escape from the dark castle. Many opponents await you there. Among them are bosses. In this article we will discuss how to defeat Skeleton Champion.

Skeleton Champion in Dark and Darker

If you are unlucky (or lucky, depends on how you look at it), while rummaging through the corridors you may come across Skeleton Champion. This is a fairly traditional opponent. It fights with a sword, carries a shield and a helmet. In addition to heavier weaponry, it is also distinguished from other skeletons by being faster. Thus, it is a dangerous enemy. However, there is a chance that a golden key will drop out of this miniboss. It allows you to open a chamber with valuable treasures.

How to defeat Skeleton Champion

1. Have someone with a shield – if you are fighting in a team, it is a good way to send one player with a shield to tank skeleton attacks while the rest of the squad attacks it.
2. Avoid blows – if you are playing alone or are not a tanking person, it is always better to avoid blows than to expose yourself to them.
3. Magical damage – the skeleton champion has a fairly low resistance to magic, this means that it is worth having someone on hand to throw spells.
4. Jump higher – if you have the ability to do so and fight with long weapons or ranged weapons, it is worth jumping to a place where the skeleton will have a harder time reaching you.
5. Cleric – the natural opponent of the Skeleton Champion seems to be the Cleric, after all, this class has bonuses for fighting the undead, right? However, after one of the December updates, skeletons lost the UNDEAD tag.
