Renowned Insider Claims Starfield Will Launch in First Half of the Year

Jez Corden stated during an Xbox Two podcast that Starfield will still debut in the first half of 2023, contrary to recent rumors of a delay. This is to be suggested by the information he recently obtained.

Release date of Starfield has been the subject of speculation for a long time, and Bethesda, the studio responsible for the title has not been eager to dispel doubts. Recently, another contribution to the topic was also made by Jez Corden - an editor from Windows Central.

The well-known journalist commented on the issue during his the recent Xbox Two podcast (via Reddit), when a chat user linked the possible release date to International Manned Spaceflight Day, which falls on April 12. Corden confirmed that this is not the first time he has encountered such rumors, but the information he has received recently points to the game's debut in June.

"In my opinion Starfield will be released in June. (...) The latest information I have received suggests a June release."

The editor's sources stand in contrast with recent rumors, according to which the game would be released in the second half of 2023 (probably in the summer). If his reports turned out to be true, it would mean for Starfield having to compete with such items as Diablo IV, Final Fantasy XVI or Street Fighter 6. Recall also that a little earlier Corden stated that the game is fully playable from start to finish.
