If you have already gotten as far as to Freight Elevator, you must have seen Terminal Lima and now you should also have access to Terminal Victor. Those big machines are your guides in building and automating your base and are crucial part in repairing the lift.

In order to make the elevator functional again, you will have to provide it with power by dragging a Power Cable from your base to it. This can be not enough though, as the lift can still require more actions to be operational. If that is the case, there is no other way as to keep upgrading Production Terminal Victor and completing tasks it assigns you to make the elevator work again.

Don’t worry, as you won’t miss the point when it will be possible to use the Freight Elevator. For the time being, focus on expanding your base, gathering resources, and upgrading the Production Terminal. The lift is part of game progression, and you are prevented from using it before being prepared.
