Since February we know the hardware needed to run Ubisoft's new racing game. However, the developers of The Crew Motorfest have slightly modified the requirements before the start of the next closed beta. The current ones can be found on the official website of the French publisher.

The Crew Motorfest- minimum PC requirements (1080 / 30 fps)

  1. Operating system: Windows 10 (64-bit)
  2. Processor: Intel Core i7-4790 (3.6 GHz) / AMD Ryzen 5 1600 (3.2 GHz)
  3. RAM: 8 GB
  4. Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 / AMD Radeon RX 460 (4 GB VRAM).
  5. Disk space: 85 GB

The Crew Motorfest- recommended PC requirements (1080p / 60 fps)

  1. Operating system: Windows 10 (64-bit)
  2. Processor: Intel Core i5-10600 (4.1 GHz) / AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (3.6 GHz)
  3. RAM: 16 GB (Dual-Channel)
  4. Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 / AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT (8 GB VRAM).
  5. Disk space: 85 GB

Pre-load has started and test invitations are already being sent out, but the actual beta will begin on July 21 at 10:00 a.m. CET / 1:00 a.m. PST (and will last until July 24). So it's worth checking in advance what has changed in the system requirements of the new installment of The Crew.

Compared to the information from February, only the suggested graphics cards in the minimum configuration remained basically the same.

  1. In the recommended specs, the game needs much more powerful GeForce RTX 3070 (instead of GTX 1060) and Radeon RX 6700 XT (previously: RX 5700) graphics chips.
  2. The minimum system requirements also changed Intel and AMD processors to more powerful Core i7-4970 and Ryzen 5 1600 models. The same applies to the recommended Intel CPU, but AMD's Ryzen 5 3600X has been replaced by a minimally weaker Ryzen 5 3600
  3. The Crew Motorfest also needs significantly more RAM and disk space (although early reports - including from our editorial team - suggest that there is actually less than 40 GB of data to download).

The Crew Motorfest will make its debut on September 14 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The upcoming beta will only be available on PC, PS5 and XSX. To have a chance to take part in the tests, you must register on Ubisoft's official website.
