Tomorrow, The Pokémon Company is hosting a 24-minute Pokémon Presents showcase. As with all of these presentations, there’s a lot of various games to cover. However, there are a few major games that fans are eager to learn more about, and perhaps a few surprise announcements in the works too. Here’s how to watch and what to expect.

Tomorrow’s Pokémon Presents could have some huge announcements in store

The Pokémon Presents showcase is scheduled for tomorrow, July 22nd, 2025, at 6:00 AM Pacific Time. The stream will be happening live on Pokémon’s YouTube channel, according to the official Pokémon website. Thanks to an update from VGC, we now know that the showcase will last for twenty-four minutes, which also makes it the longest Pokémon Presents since 2023.

The Pokémon Company has not shared what will be shown during this Pokémon Presents. So far, all they have said is “Tune in for the latest updates and news from the world of Pokémon.” In the past, these presentations were mostly made up of a wide variety of Pokémon games and other content. It would not be surprising to receive minor updates regarding Pokémon GO, Pokémon Unite, Pokémon TCG Pocket, and Pokémon Café Mix, among other titles. Perhaps even updates regarding the trading card game, anime, or global competitions.

It's virtually guaranteed that we’ll get an update on Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Even if they don’t have much to say, they will want to ensure that they continue to promote the next big game in the franchise, which is still planned to launch on October 16th, 2025. This could be the opportunity for Gamefreak to reveal some surprises for the game, though. So far, Pokémon Legends: Z-A has yet to reveal any new Pokémon, either new regional variations or new mega evolutions. Given that Z-A takes place entirely in Lumiose City, it doesn’t feel right to have regional variants. However, since this is the first time Mega Evolution is returning since Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, it would make sense to introduce some new ones.

Another question mark regarding upcoming Pokémon games is Pokémon Champions. This new cross-platform Switch and mobile game appears to be a promising host for competitive Pokémon battles. This could be something like Pokémon Stadium or Pokémon Battle Revolution, where players could upload their teams from various games and duke it out in fully realized 3D battles. The Pokémon Company has already revealed that Pokémon Champions will be able to connect to Pokémon Home, the cloud-storage system for Pokémon games. The real question is how much additional content this new game will include. Will it be exclusively for hosting battles, or will there be other content to explore as well? Tomorrow could be when we learn the answer.

Finally, and it might be the longest shot of all, tomorrow could be the first glimpse at generation ten. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are widely referred to as generation nine, so the next mainline set of games will be the tenth in the series. This also coincides with the year 2026 being the 30th anniversary of the series. This does not sound like an opportunity for The Pokémon Company to pass up. Development of Pokémon games has been relatively quiet over the last few years, so hopefully, this means that Gamefreak is building up to something special. Tomorrow could be little more than confirmation that it’s happening, but it seems like the right way to start building up to next year. There’s a chance we see the starter Pokémon, but the more likely possibility is that we get the names of the games.

Ultimately, we’ll have to tune in tomorrow to learn what The Pokémon Company has in store. There are tons of possibilities, and it’s probably best not to get your hopes up too high. But how can this company overlook its 30th anniversary? Right?
