Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis is getting a Special Edition, play demo now

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis Special Edition has been in development by Went2Play for some time now, and the studio is now ready to share some fruits of their work.

In the days of yore LucasArts was a company renowned for making great, memorable point-and-click adventure games. One of them, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis from 1992, is getting a remaster soon. Went2Play, a team known for remaking cult classics, have shared a demo of Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis Special Edition (you can get it from this website). It isn’t a simple remaster though, as the studio is recreating the whole game from scratch, adding some new content, including new plots, items and cut-scenes.

Moreover, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis Special Edition will offer brand new graphics, high quality music and sounds, and voice over done by professional actors. As for the story, it will be more or less the same experience that some of you may remember playing almost 25 years ago. Set in 1939, the game will feature the famous archeologist Indiana Jones on a quest to outrun the Nazis in discovering the lost city of Atlantis. And while the demo is already here, there is no release date for the full game yet.
