Microsoft announced its first game showcase of the year - Xbox Developer_Direct. The event will include, among others: creators of the latest installments of the Wolfenstein series - MachineGames. The team will present their latest work, the upcoming Indiana Jones game.

As it turns out, it will not be a short, vague show, but an extensive, over 10-minute long footage that will provide us with key information about the game about the iconic archaeologist, including its plot and gameplay mechanics (the game will offer FPP and TPP views). and â?? hopefully â?? its release date.

Don't miss the gameplay presentation of our new game #IndianaJones on Xbox #DeveloperDirect. We can't wait to show you what we're working on! , reads MachineGames' post on X.

Speaking of debuts, the latest rumors originating from renowned insider Tom Henderson suggest that the Indiana Jones game will be released later this year. We would like to remind you that the executive producer of the project is Todd Howard, and MachinesGames itself has been owned by Zenimax Media (owner of, among others, Bethesda) since 2010.

Not only would this be a huge surprise, considering the project was announced "only" three years ago, but it would also be another ace up Xbox's sleeve for this year. In the coming months, we will see the following premieres: Senua's Saga: Hellblade II, Avowed, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and Ara: History Untold.

The Xbox Developer_Direct show will take place on January 18 (Thursday) at noon. The event will be broadcast on official Xbox channels on YouTube and Twitch.
