Disturbing news has circulated the Internet that the brilliant series The Leftovers is to leave Max. The information was found in a thread on Reddit with a list of productions that will be removed from the Max library in the near future – there, at first, it was stated that Damon Lindelof's series would disappear from the platform on April 11, but later that date was changed to June 3. This news was further reported by news portals.

So fans began to fear that they would no longer be able to watch The Leftovers with Justin Theroux and Carrie Coon. However, it turns out that the fear was unnecessary, as The Streamable reports that their source from Warner Bros. Discovery has denied reports that The Leftovers is planned to be removed from Max. So it looks like the TV series is staying.

The information about the planned removal of the series may have appeared by accident, and it may never have been in Max's plans to get rid of the production. It is also possible that viewer outrage and requests to leave The Leftovers on Max worked and that option was dismissed because of that.

The bottom line, however, is that for now viewers can breathe a sigh of relief, their favorite show will not disappear from Max. This should also please Carrie Coon fans, because after The White Lotus season with her ended, they can now get a glimpse of another great production with her on Max.

In The Leftovers, 2% of the population has mysteriously disappeared around the world. Three years after the event, the residents of Mapelton continue to try to come to terms with this unexplained tragedy and return to their normal lives.
