It Takes Two From A Way Out Devs Goes Gold

It Takes Two, the latest game from the creators of A Way Out, has gone gold. This means that the March launch of the crazy platformer by Hazelight should be kept.

It Takes Two, a game from the creators of the co-op game A Way Out, announced in June 2019, has been completed. The information about the game going gold was shared by Josef Fares, founder of Hazelight, on his Twitter profile. Thus we are almost sure that the launch date of the co-op platformer, set for March 26, 2021, will take place as planned, although the example of Cyberpunk 2077 shows that nothing is impossible these days.

It Takes Two, designed as a crazy arcade game focused on co-op for two players, will offer more varied and longer gameplay than Hazelight's previous work. According to Josef Fares, the game should take about 14-15 hours to complete and be filled with numerous mini-games (about 25 types), side activities and secrets . On the other hand, there will not be any collectibles, disliked by the aforementioned producer.

Just like in the case of the previous Hazelight project, the game will be published by Electronic Arts as part of EA Originals series. It Takes Two is coming to PC (Origin and Steam), as well as PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Following the example of A Way Out, no second copy of the game will be required for co-op gameplay over the web.
