The E3 trade show has officially died. The ESA group, responsible for the popular event, has announced that it will not be held in future years.
It's officially the end of the great gaming event that was the E3 trade show. For some time now there have been many signs indicating that the next editions of the popular event will not take place at all. Today, the Entertainment Software Association (the initiator of the fair), passed on a depressing and short but telling message for E3 fans:
"After more than two decades of E3, each one bigger than the last, the time has come to say goodbye. Thank you for the memories."
ESA CEO Stanley Pierre-Louis commented on the reasons for E3's death. We will expand the news with his comment shortly.
