Another update for League of Legends, this time numbered 11.4, is going live today. The main innovation to be introduced by Riot Games this time is a general nerf of junglers.
League of Legends will soon be rolling out patch 11.4, the game's fourth update in 2021. This update won't bring us a new champion like the last one, but it's supposed to make a difference in terms of gameplay balance - especially for those playing in the jungle.
Weakening jungle players will consist of buffing the endurance of individual creatures, as well as reducing the amount of experience and gold for farming mobs living in the forests of Summoner's Rift.
Gromp:
- Experience reduced from the range: 135 - 182.25 (at levels 1/3/5/7/9) >>> 125 - 168.75 (at levels 1/3/5/7/9)
- Gold: 105 >>> 95
- Base HP: 1650 >>> 1750
Krug:
- Experience reduced from the range: 34 - 49.95 (at levels 1/3/5/7/9) >>> 27 - 36.45 (at levels 1/3/5/7/9)
- Gold 42 >>> 32
Lesser krug:
- Experience reduced from the range: 18 - 24.3 (at levels 1/3/5/7/9) >>> 16 - 21.6 (at levels 1/3/5/7/9)
- Gold: 12 >>> 10
Crimson Raptor:
- Experience reduced from 45 - 60.75 (at 1/3/5/7/9 levels) >>> 35 - 47.25 (at 1/3/5/7/9 levels)
- Gold: 45 >>> 35
- Base HP 800 >>> 900
Mark Yetter - gameplay designer at Riot Games - wrote that the changes are intended to help restore gameplay balance to the level from before patch 10.23, when the jungler's role on the map was increased. On his Twitter we can find the whole list of announced changes.
This means we will get a lot of reinforcements for AD Carry role in the case of characters that are currently out of the loop (Varus, Caitlyn, Jinx), as well as the adaptation of several champions to the new, more difficult jungle (Lee Sin, Amumu, Tryndamere). The list of characters getting nerfed in the latest update is not surprising. Kai'sa and Samira are the characters at the top of the list of most frequently selected heroes. And although they are not on the list, some sources say that Katarina and Urgot will also receive changes.
