Mando May Appear in Other Star Wars Productions

Pedro Pascal, who plays the lead role in The Mandalorian, is enthusiastic about possible appearance in other Star Wars productions. It turns out that he may be onto something.

The Mandalorian's huge success has led Disney to expand the Star Wars universe with many new projects. They will be set in different historical periods, but at least two of them - Ahsoka and Rangers of the New Republic - will around the timeframe of The Mandalorian. So is there a chance that we will see Mando in these productions?

Pedro Pascal, the actor playing the space bounty hunter, answered this question:

"Man, fingers crossed. How could you not? This is like, this is something that's so much bigger than all of us, and we're all a passenger to it in a great way."

Pascal's words are very enthusiastic and it's hardly surprising. However, it can be seen that even despite his willingness, the actor can't guarantee anything - the voice of Disney's executives will be decisive, with Lucasfilm director Kathleen Kennedy at the forefront. So let's take a look their opinion.

According to screenrant.com, during the last Disney Investor's Day Kathleen Kennedy confirmed that Ahsoka and Rangers of the New Republic will have crossoverss. On the official Star Wars website we will find information that Rangers of the New Republic and The Mandalorian have a common timeline which is to lead to a "powerful finale". Add to that the fact that Ahsoka Tano has already appeared in The Mandalorian (in the series she will be played by the same actress - Rosario Dawson) and we get a huge field for Din Djarin's guest appearances in these productions.

To tell the truth, it would be extremely surprising if Disney forgot about the Mandalorian. After all, it was this character - let's not be afraid to admit - who saved the whole franchise, whose reputation was significantly undermined by the poor ending of the third trilogy. Fans of the famous bounty hunter will have something to see, even if the upcoming third season of The Mandalorian is to be the last one.
