Medieval kingdom sim bans pigs from joining culture riots. Norland devs are gearing up for a big announcement
Medieval strategy game Norland received an update focusing on bug and balance improvements. The developers will soon announce a new roadmap.

Norland is a medieval city builder from Long Jaunt studio, with Hooded Horse company responsible for its publishing. The title was one of last year's surprises in the strategy category and got good reviews from players on Steam. Furthermore, it's regularly updated, and the 34th patch has been recently released, focusing on fixing many bugs and balance issues.
- From now on, we will no longer place walls in places inaccessible for finding a path.
- Pigs were excluded from cultural riots, which was obviously a bug. In a way, in exchange, the rebels will no longer attack these animals.
- The issue with some AI factions uncontrollably enlarging their armies has been fixed.
- It became impossible to bribe the bandit camp to attack another kingdom if we have a peace or alliance contract signed with the faction controlling its territory.
- The option to write a book is now available only for lords with the "knowledge" ability. Others can only copy or study them.
- The value of prisoners will no longer increase depending on their fertility.
- The bug causing wolves not to drop meat after death has been fixed.
Besides, the aforementioned improvements, many others have been introduced, which you can learn about in the post on Steam. The developers also noted that we will get a new roadmap next week.
The 33rd update was released in mid-February that introduced several new features. Thanks to it, we can strengthen settlements with walls and defensive towers, carry out surprise attacks or assign lords to night guards. The guest system was also rebuilt, the intrigue mechanics were deepened, and landscape improvements were introduced.
Norland is available exclusively on PC in early access.
