Thankfully, there are some fixes that might help."
How to fix GTA 5 Enhanced crashes
If GTA 5 Enhanced keeps crashing in Story Mode or Online, and you’ve already tried the usual fixes – updating your graphics drivers, verifying game files, and making sure your PC meets the minimum requirements – here are a few more things you can try:
- Open the Steam app, go to Library, right-click on GTA 5 Enhanced, and select Properties. In the General tab, under Launch Options, type: SteamDeck=1 %command%. Restart Steam and try launching the game.
- If you have dual graphics cards, check if the game is using your integrated GPU instead of your dedicated one. Open Windows Settings, go to System > Display > Graphics, and click Add desktop app. Add the GTA 5 Enhanced executable file, then find it in the list. Click on it and set GPU preference to High Performance.
If you’re not sure how to find the executable file, open Steam, go to your Library, and right-click on GTA 5 Enhanced. Select Manage, then click Browse local files. The executable file is usually the one with the game’s icon and is the largest file in the folder.
