Spectacular Teaser of MindsEye; GTA Rival From Former Rockstar North Leader

A teaser of MindsEye, a part of the ambitious Everywhere project by Build a Rocket Boy, a studio founded by the former head of Rockstar North, has hit the web. It will be a full-fledged AAA game... inside another AAA game.

Project Everywhere was revealed in 2017, when it was initiated started by Leslie Benzies, the former head of Rockstar North. For a long time, the public didn't get any updates on the status of the title, but today we finally learned a bit more details.

A teaser of MindsEye (available below) has hit the web, which, as it turns out, despite being a separate title, will be closely related to Everywhere. So closely that it is described as a "game within a game."

Everywhere and MindsEye

What does this enigmatic statement mean? Everywhere is described as "a new platform that offers a world of infinite possibilities where you can be whoever you choose and follow your own path" (via VGC). MindsEye in turn, will be available within it, although it is to remain a separate title, so to speak.

Studio Build a Rocket Boy describes the project as a futuristic "story-driven" AAA action-adventure game set "in a world of futuristic corporations, conspiracy theories and sinister new technologies." Fragments of gameplay in the video below bring to mind associations with Grand Theft Auto - we see third-person shooting, car driving or drone flying. Leslie Benzies himself, by the way, has previously suggested that he is creating a rival to the hit Rockstar series.

As for Everywhere itself, the game plane is to be divided into separate "worlds" representing different game genres.. The central hub will be the city of Utopia with its surrounding biomes, where players will be given access to different districts, each of which "will offer different gameplay experience and creation options" - such as racing or TPP battles. Tools are to be made available to the players to create their own gameplay and share it with the community.

Everywhere (and also MindsEye) remains in development and the release date remains unknown. However, the developers suggest that players will be able to try out the project in some form before the end of this year.
