Minecraft Creator Deleted his Twitter Account Due to Bet

The creator of Minecraft, known as Notch, deleted his Twitter account. The reason was a bet with a youtuber. Notch didn't want him to write about politics.

Markus 'Notch' Persson, the creator of Minecraft, has been known for his controversial tweets for several years. This will probably change now because Notch has deleted his Twitter account.

That Notch likes to poke the hornet's nest has been known for a long time. Because of his activity on social media websites and his views, he wasn't invited to Minecraft's tenth anniversary, and Microsoft emphasized that his opinions and comments don't reflect the company's position. The creator of the cubic sandbox is also known for his passion for conspiracy theories and controversial statements about feminism and LGBT communities.

Why did Notch delete his account? After all, it was used to share opinions and comments on various topics. However, Minecraft's father sacrificed it so that a certain YouTuber would no longer write anything about politics.

This youtuber in question is Mark Brown, who hosts the Game Maker's Toolkit channel, which records short videos on game development-related topics. One of his last tweets has been devoted to skippable ads, which the host enables as an experiment. Although the channel has earned an additional thousand pounds due to this decision, the creator doesn't want the ads (including those related to Donald Trump's re-election) to make the content more difficult to receive. Here's what followed:.

Shortly after that, Notch tweeted and announced that he was deleting his account. It was supposed to be a 'small step towards the old Internet.'

Currently, the Internet users are divided. Some are happy about Notch's decision, while others are anything but. But has Notch really disappeared from Twitter? Will he come back as suddenly as he left?
