Mojang Studios boasted the result achieved by Minecraft: Dungeons. In addition, the devs admitted that support for this project has come to an end.
Five years after Minecraft: Dungeons was announced, and less than 3.5 years after its release, the developers at Mojang Studios boasted of the results it has achieved. As it turns out, Minecraft: Dungeons has already been played by more than 25 million players across all platforms - PC and Xbox One (in both cases also in Game Pass), PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
As the devs admit in the official announcement, such a huge number of players exceeded their wildest expectations. After all, the game was initially only a small project created out of passion. Unfortunately, this is the end of good news related to the title in question.
For the developers admitted that they have ended support for their work. Thus, the update from the end of last year, numbered 1.17, was the last major patch for Minecraft: Dungeons. The team now wants to focus on new projects set in the universe of Minecraft and will no longer enrich the described item with additional content or new features.
