New Screenshots From Fallout 4: New Vegas Mod

New screens have appeared on the web, presenting an ambitious fan modification for Fallout 4, which reproduces all the content known from Fallout: New Vegas developed by Obsidian. Work on the project is ongoing and it is not known when it will be released.

It's been over a year since we last wrote about the Fallout 4: New Vegas mod prepared by Team F4NV. At that time we could see quite an impressive gameplay from the fan production. However, a long period of relative silence on the part of the creators did not mean that they abandoned the project. Work on it is still underway, and its effects can be seen on new screenshots that have appeared on the web. Here they are:

Fallout 4 modification: New Vegas looks quite impressive.

Fallout 4: New Vegas is one of the most anticipated fan mods for the fourth installment of the iconic post-apocalyptic RPG series. The basic idea ehind the mod is simple, but extremely ambitious - to transfer the entire map, tasks and content of New Vegas, originally developed by Obsidian and considered by many to be the best three-dimensional installment of Fallout, to the engine of the fourth installment. This will not only enable us to finish the story of the Courier crossing the Mojave Desert in nicer visuals, but also to enjoy the gameplay mechanics that were not available in the original and only appeared in the last single-player game from the Bethesda's popular universe.

You guys want to go to New Vegas again?

The fact that Team F4NV plans to recreated a whole game from other developers may raise some concerns that Fallout 4: New Vegas will inevitably get a C&D note. Fortunately, the creators took some preparation for such situation. They do not use even the original voices of characters from Obsidian's game. Instead, they recorded the dialogues themselves, with the intention of placing them in the mod.

Fallout 4: New Vegas mod is obviously only going to PC. The release date is not known so far, but given the size of the project, it is rather far away.
