Nintendo hosted yet another Nintendo Direct today, the first one in several months. There were a lot of brand new announcements in the forty-minute presentation, some unexpected remakes, and plenty more for Nintendo Switch owners to get excited for. Watch the full Nintendo Direct here.
Perhaps one of the most unexpected but exciting announcements was the continuation of the Mario Strikers series with Mario Strikers Battle League. Plus the hilariously adorable new trailer for Kirby and the Forgotten Land shows Kirby’s new power to become a car, or Carby, as he will surely be called.

Nintendo also showed off some great updates and DLC for games like Cuphead, Metroid Dread, and even Mario Kart 8. Though some DLC will be free, that is not the same across the board. Classic franchises like Assassins Creed and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed were also announced.
To cap off the presentation, Nintendo also showed a trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles 3, revealing that the highly anticipated continuation of the fan-favorite series would arrive on the Nintendo Switch this September. The trailer showed off a huge cast of colorful characters with plenty of action and drama to back them up.

There’s plenty more where that came from, so here’s a list of everything that was announced during today’s Nintendo Direct:
