GO Pass is the new addition to the Pokemon GO, which should help trainers earn more and more rewards. Many players were positive about Tour Pass during the recent event because who doesn't like presents? So, developers decided to cling to the idea. The snag is that this feature, unfortunately, is not available to everyone, and even the battle pass itself may differ in content between individuals.
GO Pass April not for everyone?
GO Pass is a new feature being tested by Niantic, which works similarly to battle pass in other games. It is a temporary progression path, available from April 1, and will end on May 6. It allows you to collect GO Points, for which you can earn higher and higher ranks, which will consequently unlock new rewards. You can collect them by May 8. For now, this feature is free, with the possibility of upgrading to a paid version, however, it differs between accounts.
The developers point out that GO Pass is being tested, so both the rewards and various features may vary for each user. Weekly Tasks seem to be a good example of that. Players on Reddit even say that people from the same house can have or not have access to them. Moreover, their daily limits are different.
Before Niantic decides to release this feature globally for players, they want to make sure that it will positively affect their experience. Therefore, it is worth noting that GO Pass is not available to everyone at this point. Its accessibility largely depends on the region in which you created your account. However, keep in mind that even if you are in the tested area, the feature may not appear.
