We're less than a week away from Opening Night Live, the opening event of this year's gamescom. Its organizer, well-known industry journalist Geoff Keighley, decided to additionally heat up the atmosphere and revealed further details on what we can expect on Wednesday, i.e. 25 August. According to his entry, during the broadcast, which will start at 10:40 AM PT and, together with the discussion that precedes its, may last two and a half hours, we will be able to see presentations of more than 30 games. We can expect new gameplays, including so-called "first looks", fresh news from over 70 studios and publishers and "much more". All of this is to be interspersed with comedy inserts (via VGC).
The Opening Night Live event, as in previous years, will be hosted by Geoff Keighley himself. This year, however, he will be assisted by Natascha Becker, a journalist from GameStar.
Additional details about Opening Night Live are expected to appear in the near future. It is therefore worth following Geoff Keighley's profile on Twitter
