Palworld - How to Restore Save File, Take Care of Your Progress

Palworld is definitely a new Steam hit. Probably even developers are surprised that their creation is the most popular game on Valve platform, and it beats on this position CS2 by a lot (data via SteamDB). With so many players, there are numerous technical issues, especially taking into consideration the fact that the title is in early access. Sadly, some of them are the reason of progress loss. On the official Discord, developers announced though that it is possible to recover your single player and coop data. Let’s find out how.

Palworld - How to Restore Save File and Take Care of Your Coop Multiplayer / Single Player Progress

On the official Discord, developers shared the link with Q&A. Among various information, there is also a guide on how to recover your coop and single player data. To do so:

1. Go to C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Pal\Saved\SaveGames and enter your SteamID (string of numbers).
2. You should see your save file. Select the folder by the date you wish to override (in most cases it will be the latest file).
3. Enter the Backup folder.
4. Pick local file.
5. Once again, select the proper date.
6. Copy LocalData.sav.
7. Paste it to the main folder (from the 2nd point of our guide).
8. Launch the game.

Hopefully, your problems with save file will be solved by the above fix.
