FPS PayDay 3 Coming in 2023; First Teaser Available

Six years after its official announcement, PayDay 3 has received its first teaser, confirming the game's release date. The game also lived to see its own product card on Steam.

PayDay 3 was first mentioned about six years ago. Starbreeze, studio responsible for the PayDay series, in the meantime brushed against bankruptcy, which resulted in a change of priorities - including focusing on the development of numerous expansions for the second game. Currently, the Swedish company has achieved financial stability, as a result of which PayDay 3 received the first teaser (with a release date for the game) and lived to see a card on Steam.

PayDay 3 later this year

A relevant announcement can be found on Twitter, as well as on Steam. The game's action will take place in New York City, and players will take on the role of four characters known from previous parts of the series. The gameplay is expected to focus on cooperation and getting rich quick through armed robberies. Premiere of PayDay 3 is scheduled for 2023. The title will be released on PC and 9th-gen consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X).

Those interested in the title can already add PayDay 3 to their wish list on Steam. Unfortunately, Valve's website does not reveal much new information. We do know that the game will offer both single-player and up to four-player team play. The PC version of the title, like previous installments, will not support split-screen mode.

PayDay: The Heist and PayDay 2 - big sale

Recall that on the occasion of the Christmas and New Year holidays , you can purchase the previous installments of the series and their expansions at a huge discount on Steam. You can also purchase many expansions for the second installment at a redyced price, including new heists (e.g. Goat Simulator or John Wick). The campaign will last until January 5.
