Arkane's Redfall Could Launch Later; What About Starfield?

Redfall - a new game from Arkane Studios (Deathloop, Prey, Dishonored) - has reportedly suffered an internal delay. Will it affect the release of Starfield?

Some time ago we informed you that Redfall - the new game from Arkane Studios (Deathloop, Prey, Dishonored) - may come out sooner than we thought. When moving the game's release date, the developer only stated that it would be released in the first half of 2023. However, a Twitter user by the handle Okami Games suggested that the title could be released as early as March.

The same internet user reports now that Redfall has suffered another delay - this time internally. Work was supposedly extended by about six weeks, which would have heralded the game's release in early May.

Neither Arkane Studios nor Bethesda - the publisher of Redfall - have not yet addressed these revelations. It is possible that their silence is calculated to provided all the information in one go when the time is right. Perhaps this will happen at the game show which - at least according to Jeff Grubb - is to be held in early 2023.

The logical question that arises from the above reports is: what about Starfield? The launches of both titles were eventually delayed at the same time. Fortunately, there are no - at least for now - alarming signals. Another thing is that the company may not want to release two big games side by side.

It is therefore possible that the debut of Starfield will also have to wait a little longer. Well, at least Bethesda would gain a little more time to "patch up" the game. Not that it would enable the developer eliminate all the bugs... or even most of them... or even half of them for that matter.

As a reminder, I'd like to add that both games in question will be released exclusively on PC and Xbox X and S series.
